Oracle Agile PLM

Oracle Agile PLM is the PLM product line that Oracle acquired from Agile Software Corporation in 2007. Historically strong in high-tech, electronics, and medical-device industries, it focuses on item-centric product records, BOM management, change control, and supplier collaboration, with deep integration into Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Cloud SCM.

Context

The product family includes Agile 9 (Product Collaboration, Product Quality Management, Product Cost Management, Product Portfolio Management), Agile e6 (engineering data management with CAD vault, formerly Eigner+Partner), and Oracle Cloud PLM as Oracle’s modern SaaS offering. Many electronics OEMs run Agile because of its strong AML/AVL handling and BOM accuracy.
