Dassault Cameo / CATIA Magic
Dassault Cameo — branded as CATIA Magic in the 3DEXPERIENCE portfolio — is the MBSE / SysML modeling product line acquired from No Magic in 2018. It is the most widely cited reference implementation of OMG SysML 1.x in regulated industries, and is now a participating implementation of the SysML v2 standard. It includes Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, Cameo Enterprise Architecture, and Cameo Simulation Toolkit.
Context
No Magic was a 25-year-old MBSE specialist before the acquisition. After joining Dassault, the products were rebranded as CATIA Magic (cloud / 3DEXPERIENCE-integrated) and Cameo (standalone) and pulled into the 3DEXPERIENCE Systems Engineer roles, complementing CATIA’s mechanical and ENOVIA’s PLM coverage.
